The contest of composing slogans aims to improve the building and development of Tasco’s trademark which have operated in the construction and real estate for about 40 years. The regulations of the contest are described as follows:
Article 1: Objectives
The contest targets to support the building and development of Tasco’s trademark in the context of global economic integration. It is an occasion for Tasco to advertise its trademark to the public, customers and partners throughout Vietnam and foreign countries as well, bringing Tasco’s trademark to a higher position and into domestic and foreign markets.
Article 2: Criteria for composing slogan
- The slogan must satisfy the following criteria:
- Be simple and easy to remember
- Own community characteristics
- Be meaningful
- Express the difference from any available slogan in the world
- Provide additional explanations for the meaning of the slogan
- The slogan must prove that Tasco is a distinguished, united and cooperative company whose products and services are always towards its customers and community.
- The total number of words is not allowed to exceed 10
- The words are easy to understand, including onomatopoeia, ideographic and recalling words.
Article 3: Contestants: All Vietnamese citizens in the country and abroad
Article 4: Products for the contest
- The number of products: Unlimited (Either one or more ideas can be sent)
- The product is required to be represented as follows: Be printed or represented on the same A4 page (21cm x 29.7cm) without any line.
- The product must be covered with an envelope on which the name, address and mobile number are recorded to send the organizing committee.
Article 5: Criteria for assessing contest products
Apart from the basic requirements stipulated in Article 3 herein, the system of criteria for assessing the works includes:
- Ideals for the slogan
- Unique and creative features in composing the slogan
- Be easy to remember and identify Tasco’s trademark
Article 6: Time and methods to submit contest products:
- Date of launching: From 21st September, 2009
- Closing date of submission: 21st October, 2009
- Date of result announcement: 16th November, 2009

Article 7: Board of Examiners for the contest
The Board of Examiners includes:
- Professor Vu Khieu, the first director of Vietnam Institute of Sociology, former Deputy Director of Vietnam News Agency and former Deputy Head of Committee of Social Sciences (currently Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences)
- Board of Directors of Tasco JSC,
- Directors Board of Tasco JSC,
- Head of Department of Public Relations of Tasco JSC,.
The Department of Public Relations is responsible for receiving, collecting and submitting the contest products to the Board of Examiners.
Article 8: Structure of prizes
- A special prize for the selected product has the value as following:
20,000,000 vnd (Twenty million Vietnam Dong)
- Two consolation prizes for the two most voted products worth: 5.000.000 vnd (Five million Vietnam Dong)
Article 9: Regulations on the ownership of the winning works:
Tasco JSC., is entitled to own the copyright indefinitely as well as the full right to register the intellectual ownership of the selected slogan in compliance with its purpose.
Apart from the prizes, the winner will be proud of to be the inventor of Tasco’s slogan which has been operating in the construction and real estate for about 40 years and the investor of many potential projects. Meanwhile, his product will be publicized on mass media and frequently mentioned by surrounding people.
