Project on building road route from Le Duc Tho Street to Road No. 70 in Hanoi
On 5 December, with witness of Vice Chairman of Hanoi City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Khoi, Representatives of Tasco Joint stock Company (Investor) and People’s Committee of Tu Liem District signed the contract on implementation of project on construction of the road route connecting Le Duc Tho Street to Road No. 70.

The project has a total length of 3.51 km with 8 lanes running through Xuan Phuong commune, Cau Dien Town and My Dinh commune. It is the section in the planning of building the Ring Road No. 3-My Dinh – Xuan Phuong – Road No. 70 route to solve traffic congestion in the area, reduce traffic load on Highway No. 32 and create connection for areas in the West of Hanoi. The project is implemented in the form of BT (Build-Transfer) with the total investment of 1,500 billion dongs. Currently, People’s Committee of Tu Liem District and the Investor are promptly carrying out site clearance. As scheduled, the Project will be started in January 2009 and proposed to complete after 36 months.
Tasco is allocated about 45 hectares of land to return the capital for the investment in building the road route and to create resettlement land fund for site clearance and displacement of households in the area.
