Evaluation and monitoring of ISO 9001:2000

Be aware of this, and with the slogan of “Quality is vital to the existence and development of a company”, Tasco has started building its quality management system in accordance with international standard ISO 9001:2000 since 2002 and have applied, tested and renovated continuously the system up to 2006.

Be aware of this, and with the slogan of “Quality is vital to the existence and development of a company”, Tasco has started building its quality management system in accordance with international standard ISO 9001:2000 since 2002 and have applied, tested and renovated continuously the system up to 2006.

The Company has selected Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI) as an agency to evaluate and certify the system. Certification was issued to the company right after the evaluation produced the conclusion that the quality management system of the Company met requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and that the application was carried out effectively in all positions throughout the company. The certificate of three year validity was issued on 3 October 2006.

Periodically once per year in the certification period, BVQI will carry out evaluation and monitoring of maintenance and conformity of the system with ISO 9001:2000 at the time of evaluation.

In mid-September of 2008, evaluation team of BVQI implemented the second evaluation of quality management system against the proposed objectives. The evaluation team pointed out non-conformity in actual operation of the enterprise and points those needed to be improved for more effective operation of the Company’s quality activities. The evaluation result showed that the Tasco had made many efforts in the maintenance and development of the quality system in its departments and units. The specialists proposed some recommendations in daily activities of the system related to the Construction Engineering Department, Admin and Human Resources Department.

With the benefits provided by ISO 9001:2000, Tasco is determined to implement and maintain ISO 9001:2000. Mr Hoang Viet Cuong, the General Director of the Company committed that the Company will ensue maintenance and constant improvement of the quality system with the objective of making Tasco an outstanding enterprise in the effective application of ISO system.
