Commencement of Project on “Improvement, Upgrade of Highway No. 10 from La Uyen Bridge to Tan De Bridge”

On 7 September, the commencement ceremony of Project on “Improvement, Upgrade of Highway No. 10 from La Uyen Bridge to Tan De Bridge” invested by Tasco was organized formally in Vu Thu District, Thai Binh Province.

Participating in the ceremony includes Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Communist Party, secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party-Mr Bui Tien Dung, the Director of Vietnam Roads Bureau-Mr Mai Van Duc, Head of Infrastructure Department under the Ministry of Planning and Investment-Mr Bui Trong Tin, and representatives of communes through which the route pass and central news agencies and mass media.

On behalf of the Investor, Mr. Pham Quang Dung, reported the project deployment process and committed to implement the project with quality, scheduled progress, safety and efficiency. He also expressed his gratitude to the interest and support of the Government, Ministry of Transport, and concerned ministries, branches, localities in Thai Binh province. His thank was also sent to VDB Bank for its preferential credit for the project.

Representative of Thai Binh province, Mr Bui Tien Dung - Secretary of Provincial Committee of Party, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated efforts made by the Investor in its cooperation with the locality to push up the project progress to catch up with the schedule and for early commencement. He also expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Transport, Vietnam Roads Bureau for their interests in the improvement of traffic network in Thai Binh Province. The Director of Vietnam Roads Bureau Mai Van Duc said that the commencement of the road was an important event targeting to synchronize the traffic network of the region and reducing traffic accidents in the road route from La Uyen Bridge to Tan De Bridge. The Director requested Thai Binh People’s Committee, leaders of localities through which the road route pass to join in active cooperation with the Investor in site clearance as well as relevant procedures, policies to ensure the project schedule.

For Tasco’s part, this is the first project in the form of BOT that is carried out by the Company. Therefore, it carries an important meaning in the Company’s development strategy. Tasco is both the Investor and Contractor of the work. As the representative of the Contractor, Mr. Hoang Viet Cuong, the general director of the Company committed to promote its internal and external resources to well complete the project. To mobilize external resources, Tasco will cooperate with other contractors, consultants, designers and supervisors for promotion of mutual support, close solidarity and the highest responsibility. Right after the commencement ceremony, the Project on “Improvement, Upgrade of Highway No. 10” shall be deployed in this September.
